RRB Group D 2022 Result: Check CBT 1 Merit List, Scorecard & Cutoff
RRB Group D 2022 Result: Railway Group D results are declared online by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) after the completion of the exam. RRB Group D result dates will be known after the exam is over. The result will be available in PDF format and it will display the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. The scorecard is issued with the result and the candidates can access it by logging in with the user id and password. Calculation of RRB Group D Result 2022
The score of CBT is calculated as per the marking scheme issued by RRB. The marking scheme prescribed for CBT is given below:
- For correct answer, candidates get one mark
- 1/3 mark is deducted for wrong answers
- Score is calculated based on the number of correct answers after applying penalty for wrong answers.
Normalisation of RRB Group D
Shortlisting of candidates for various stages is done on the basis of normalized marks obtained by the candidates in CBT. The process of normalization is followed since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. Normalization of marks is adopted for shortlisting candidates from CBT to PET and document verification.
Calculation of Normalisation of Marks
In CBT, the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. For these multi-session papers, normalization of marks is applied to accommodate the variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers in different sessions. The marks obtained in the CBT are calculated on the basis of the average score of the top one percentile of the candidates considering all the shifts. Digits are calculated up to five decimal places. The formula for calculating normalized marks for multiple-session papers is given below:

RRB Group D Result 2022 for CBT
As per the RRB Group D exam pattern, the CBT is divided into four sections- General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness & Current Affairs. The total marks allotted to CBT is 100. The subjects given in RRB Group D syllabus are of class 10 level. Candidates who qualify CBT are called to appear for PET. The minimum qualifying marks for CBT are given below as per the categories.

Note: The percentage of marks is relaxable by 2% in case of a shortfall of candidates against the vacancies reserved for PWBD candidates.

On the basis of performance in CBT, candidates thrice the number of vacancies are called for PET. It is mandatory to clear the PET, but it is of qualifying nature.

RRB Group D medical exam 2022
The medical examination is conducted in railway hospitals. Here, candidates are judged on the basis of their physical fitness. One of the important aspects of the medical test is that meets the visual acuity standard. It is mandatory to qualify for the medical examination only then the candidates are recommended for appointment.
RRB Group D 2022 final result
The final result is declared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in CBT, provided they clear the document verification and medical examination. Selected candidates are offered employment by the concerned Railway Administration.
